IEEE TEMS Distinguished Lecturers Program

General Program Policy

PURPOSE: To promote excellence in technology and engineering management by connecting recognized experts with the IEEE community.

The IEEE TEMS DLs are the TEMS members worldwide who are leading experts working on a topic in the field of interest of TEMS. The TEMS society financially supports the program to cover the expenses of online lectures and/or economy-class travels to/from the lecture venue of TEMS DLs. The speeches delivered by the TEMS DLs should be able to benefit as many TEMS members as possible during each trip.

Duration of appointment

3-year appointment. Option to renew for 1 year. Not eligible for reappointment for 2 years.

2 DLs appointed in the first year, and 1 or 2 (dependent on budget) DLs in subsequent years.
