Submission Guidelines

Papers can be submitted in any one of the following categories. IEEE EMR is a journal-of-practice, so a strong managerial contribution is key. Submitted papers must be original and not under consideration by any other journal or conference. Extended versions must not have more than 30% overlap with conference proceedings. Submissions undergo a blinded peer-review process. We invite conceptual or empirical submissions; no specific theoretical or methodological approaches are preferred. High-quality conceptual, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method submissions are welcome. Practitioner perspectives are especially encouraged.

Submitted papers must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Extended versions of conference papers must have ≤30% overlap. Submissions undergo blinded peer review. Conceptual or empirical work is invited; no methodology bias. Practitioner perspectives are encouraged.
