To all, with interest in Conferences, we are heading for an interesting year 2018 that started last month April with two events taking place. First, there was the inaugural edition of the 2018 TEMS-ISIE, the International Symposium on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ISIE) in Bejing. A separate great report on that conference has been written by our dear Professor Xiaohong “Iris” Quan from SJSU that you also can find on Leader. And in the same month in Regio 10 the successful TEMS Industry Forum – Bengalaru took place under the driving force of our own Ravikiran Annaswamy and all of his team. Kudos to both teams for their achievements.
Then, looking ahead, we have a lot more to offer this year to our members and all out there with interest in technology and engineering management, therefore please check out the following short intro overview.
Of course, we will have our 2018 TEMSCON in Chicago coming up in June with as central theme “Engineering Management in an Era of Disruption” under the leadership of Mark Werwath and his team. Do check out the www.temscon.org website for the program as it gets completed, including also an Industry Forum, and do register if you have not already done so or invite your colleagues to join.
In the same month of June, the 24th edition of our 2018 ICE/ITMC conference takes place in Stuttgart, Germany. The local team has done a great job in preparing the program, so do check out www.ice-conference.org. And of course, that conference is up for another lustrum as next year is then another milestone: 25 years.
Just shortly after the summer, we are moving up to Berlin, Germany in August where the 2018 ICMSE will take place under the lead of the Harbin Institute of Technology and in collaboration with the TU Berlin, from Aug 17 to 20th. Check out http://icmse.hit.edu.cn/icmseen/ch/index.aspx also for the deadlines that are nearing.
In September, we support two more conferences in Europe. First, there is the 13th edition of the International Conference on Digital Information Management (2018 ICDIM), which is a multidisciplinary conference on digital information management, science, and technology. Also in Berlin but from September 24 to 26. Again check out http://www.icdim.org/ for the specific dates of their deadlines, for which there is still ample time. And in the same week, but with a different theme, there will be the 9th edition of the International Conference on Intelligent Systems (IS-2018) from Sept 25-28 in Funchal, Portugal themed “Theory, Research and Innovation in Applications”. Do check out http://www.ieee-is2018.com/. Note that Track / Special Session, Workshop proposal submissions are still open but will soon close and of course, do take notice of the paper submission deadlines.
Coming up in November is the first edition of International Conference on Technology Management, Operations and Decisions (2018 IEEE ICTMOD), to be held in Marrakech, Morocco on November 21, 22 & 23, 2018. The theme of IEEE ICTMOD 2018 is Digital Innovation and Business Transformation. Details can be found on http://www.ciems.ma/conference/en/ and here too a call for proposals for an Industry Panel is open. Again do check out the website for all of the relevant due dates.
And finally, in December, there is the 2nd edition of the Global Conference on the Internet of Things (GCIOT 2018) that invites researchers, scientists, R&D organizations and engineers throughout the world to present their latest research and ideas in the area of IoT to share their experience and exchange their ideas. The theme of GCIOT 2018 is “Smart Sustainable Cities.” This conference will be held in Alexandria, Egypt on 14 to 16 December 2018. For all details check out the website: https://www.gciot.org
And meanwhile, the preparations for 2019, 2020, 2021 have started too. And as IEEE TEMS we will also post a TEMS Call for Conference Proposals soon, to work and collaborate with you in co-creating our next conferences.
